加世田農園から提供されたいちごを大隅災害復旧ボランティアの小野田賢造さんが響につながるのある外国人のかたに寄付したいとお申し出いただきました。そこで、九州日本語学校に通う留学生の皆さんに少しでも地域とのつながりを感じて欲しいと思い、先生のご許可を得て、3月11日に贈呈を行いました。贈呈については直接小野田様が訪問してくださり留学生とのしばしの交流時間を持たれたようです。
先生から「学生たちにとっていちごは高級品ですので、ありがたいです。学生たちはとても喜んでいました。ありがとうございました。」と感謝のコメントを頂きました。
3か月前は新入外国人に新米を届けました。こちらは姶良市にあるお寺さんからの贈呈でした。

小野田様や姶良市のお寺さんのようにコロナ禍でアルバイトの時間も減り、地域との交流の機会も激減した留学生に対し「支援したい」と思って下さる方がいましたらぜひお声掛けいただければと思っております。直接持参され、贈呈していただくことも可能です。

Welcome international students with strawberries
Mr. Kenzo Onoda offered to donate strawberries to foreigners who have a connection with Hibiki.We wanted the international students attending Kyusyu Japanese Language School (KLS) to feel a connection with the community as much as possible, so we gave the gift with the permission of the teacher.Mr. Onoda visited us directly for the presentation, and it seems that he had some time to interact with international students.
The teacher commented, "The students were very happy. Thank you."
Three months ago, We delivered new rice to new foreigners. This was a gift from a temple in Aira City.If you would like to support international students who have reduced their part-time work hours due to the effects of coronavirus infection and have dramatically reduced opportunities to interact with the local community, we would love to hear from you. It is also possible to bring it directly and present it.
