新しく九州日本語学校に入学した20名の外国人留学生全員に新米を贈呈しました。新型コロナの影響もあり、入国が制限されていましたがやっとのことで入国。鹿児島にきてからは、2週間隔離措置がとられていました。
私たちの団体は、例年新入留学生のために様々なイベントを開催していますが、今年は密を防ぐため、対面でのイベントは自粛しています。少しでも地域とのつながりを感じて欲しい。歓迎していることを伝えたいと12月6日(日)に新米と手作りマスクなどを贈呈しました。
これらの品物は姶良市のお寺さんからのご寄付です。袋のメッセージも手書き。リアルなイベントがなかなかできない厳しい現状ではありますが、みなさんを歓迎している気持ちが伝われば嬉しいですね。
お寺の皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。留学生の皆さんが大変喜んでいらっしゃいました。これからもぜひご縁を頂ければ嬉しいです。
[Welcome international students for new students]
We donated new rice to all 20 new students enrolled in Kyushu Japanese Language School. Entry was restricted due to the influence of the corona, but I was finally able to enter. Since I came to Kagoshima, I have been quarantined for two weeks.
Our organization holds various events for new students every year, but this year we refrain from face-to-face events to prevent infection.
Even under these circumstances, we decided to donate rice as a living support so that we could feel the connection with the community as much as possible. We presented rice and handmade masks directly on December 6th.
It is difficult to hold an actual event, but I wanted to convey the feeling of hospitality. Welcome to Kagoshima. Please enjoy your life in Kagoshima from now on. And please study Japanese hard.
